WHAT: Squirrel Roundup & Golf Tournament

Start the day at Alturas Ranches for a traditional squirrel hunt. Then, head to the clubhouse at Likely Place Golf & RV Resort for lunch followed by an 18-hole golf tournament.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

7 a.m. Arrive at Alturas Ranches early to complete liability paperwork and map ofapproved hunting areas for Squirrel Roundup (This DOES NOT includepaperwork for obtaining a hunting license, which must be done prior to theevent. Please see below for instructions on how to obtaining a hunting license.)

8 a.m. - Noon Squirrel Roundup at Alturas Ranches 

Noon - 1 p.m. Lunch at Likely Place Golf & RV Resort

1-7 p.m. Golf Tournament

Limited to 50 participants on a first come, first served basis. Must have a valid California Department of Fish and Wildlife hunting license. For more information on obtaining a day-of license, visit dfg.ca.gov. Hunters must adhere to all hunting and safety regulations. 

Alturas Ranches is beautifully nestled amidst the Warner Range in Northern California, surrounded by preserved wildlife habitat. They primarily grow alfalfa, wild rice and wheat.
