As the golf season is on quick approach and we gear up for another eventful summer, we’d like to introduce the Likely Place Golf & RV Resort blog. Here we’ll present a range of ideas, tips and happenings at the course and also in the surrounding communities.
Let’s begin with a topic that troubles even the pros ... Goose droppings. We’ve all encountered these little annoyances on the course and the one thing that is worse than getting a little poo on your shoe, is when it’s right in the line to make that perfect putt.
The attached video presents a sarcastic approach to the problem. In a nutshell, here’s what you need to do:
- Remove the flag from the hole.
- Press on the ball with your shoe to push it down into the green a bit.
- Angle your putt so you essentially jump over the obstruction.
- Celebrate when you successfully make the putt.
