"What really distinguishes this park are the amenities. A truly lovely golf course (and I don’t even golf!), a great little nature trail (don’t miss the views from Jose’s Point), FREE access to bikes, kayaks, and paddleboards. (Love that you aren't nickel and dimed to death!) We borrowed two fat-tire bikes for the 3.5 mile loop trail around the property – Awesome! We got a huge kick out of the giant jack rabbits and saw a Great Horned Owl on the nature walk. Golden Eagles also frequent Jose’s Point, but we missed them.
There is a small laundry (2 washers/2 dryers) that are very reasonably priced, restrooms, showers, a group fire pit/ BBQ area. There is a dump station. The clubhouse/office hosts a small café open for breakfast and lunch. Checkout the yellow folders on the information/brochure table for things to do in the area.
We had 4 bars of Verizon 4G. The clubhouse has free wifi which is also accessible from the covered deck."

"I came for the stargazing which was amazing. Great for RVs. I stayed on their large meadow which includes pads with electricity for telescopes. A great place to stay!”

"Just passing through and not golfers, we spent a couple of nights in the RV camp. Beautiful sunrise & sunsets, peace & quiet, with many places to walk our dog. He gave the place two dew claws up! I wish we had eaten at the club house, but we will next time! My husband wants to stay a little longer when we return and that is saying A+! We visited the nearby bird wildlife sanctuary and had a wonderful hike listening to the chorus of Canadian geese!”

"This is a hidden gem of a course about a 1/2 hour drive south of Alturas. It is a challenging 18 hole course that is set in a landscape of rock, sagebrush, and junipers. The fairways are a mixed bag - it can be difficult to get the grass growing in much of the hardpan soils of the area - beware of hidden rocks. The greens are outstanding and well kept.”
– Marty Y., Alturas, CA
