Guests keep asking: “Can we stay at Likely Place in the winter?  What facilities are open if we come?  How do we…?  Etc, etc…”  So, here’s the answers:

WE’RE OPEN AND WE WELCOME YOU!

The late Fall, Winter, and early Spring months at Likely Place are lovely.

Likely Place in the Winter!

IMPORTANT -- Kathy’s Grill does not operate from Oct 15 - Apr 15 but every other service is available.

Star Gazing using our twelve 110 volt-supplied telescope pads is spectacular on clear nights.

The golf course is open.  Green Fees including a Cart are $30 per person.  Call the number posted at the clubhouse and we’ll put a cart out for you.

Fall and Spring fishing in nearby lakes and reservoirs is some of the best of the year.

Hiking trails are open.  If there’s snow on the ground bring a fat-tire bike or cross country skis. Bird watching at the Modoc National Refuge is at its peak in the Fall with millions of migrating waterfowl.

Full service RV spaces are available. Water, sewer, and electricity all work. Pick a spot from among spaces 2-10.  Pay for your space through our website reservation system or put your payment through the slot in the door at the night office.

The WiFi system is operating. It’s stronger near the clubhouse but try it in your RV first.

Laundry facilities, showers and toilets are open.  As always, they’re clean and serviced.

Food Service:  Kathy’s Grill is not open.  If you haven’t brought your own food to cook, the Likely General Store can supply ingredients but if you’d rather not cook, the restaurants in Alturas will welcome you.  See our restaurant guide online.

A Likely Place employee is on-site at all times.  Follow directions at clubhouse for phone numbers or check with Carol in site #1.

COME, STAY, ENJOY YOURSELF!!!
